Creative Move​ment
Creative Move​ment
•Specifically designed for three year old's, students, Creative Movement is an introduction to dance and teaches basic dance steps as well as how to learn in a dance class

A parent or guardian should come to class with their child
•Classes will stretch, learn their right and left along with dance basics
•Students will get to use their imaginations while dancing with props​
•Students will perform in both of our recitals at the beginning of the evening to family-friendly music
Ballet
Ballet
•Classical in style our ballet class is very traditional with roots in the French, Vaganova, Balanchine and Cecchetti methods.
•All classes will begin with stretching, soon followed by barre work
•Working at a barre allows the student to target one side of the body at a time as well as maintaining balance while conditioning
•Barre work will be followed by jumps, turns, kicks, and leaps
•Classical, Christian, and Family Friendly music will be used
• Classes will perform a dance routine at each recital and Christmas show
Jazz

•Dancing will be kept clean
•Each Class will start with a warm-up and stretch, including isolation work
•Basic techniques of turns, jumps, kicks, and floor work will be taught
•Family-Friendly and Contemporary Christian music will be used
• Classes will perform a dance routine at each recital and Christmas show
Tap
Tap
•Each Class will start with a warm-up
• Tap basics are taught from the Al Gilbert syllabus
•Students will learn to use their feet to perform various movements creating rhythms with their taps
•Classes will perform a dance routine at each recital and Christmas show
Performance Teams
Performance Teams
Performance Teams will dance in a Christmas show and recital as well as other community performances.
In addition to ballet and jazz, performance team students approximately 8 years and older will train in lyrical dance.

The following dance wear items can be ordered through the studio. Information on attire for boys available upon request.
Jazz/ Tap
- Solid colored leotard and tights
- Shorts or skirts can be worn over leotard and tights
- Tan jazz shoes/ Tan tap shoes (Order through studio)
- Hair in a ponytail off the face or in a bun
Ballet
- Solid colored leotard and tights
- Can also wear ballet skirt
- Pink ballet shoes (Order through studio)
- Hair in ponytail or bun
Creative Movement
- Class dress with tights
- Pink ballet shoes (Order through studio)
